Our Language Package - Upper Elementary focuses on grammar study. At this point, many students are fluent readers and are growing comfortable with classifying the parts of speech. The materials included here allow a child to master the parts of speech, continue to work on symbolizing sentences, and move forward to analyzing the interactions of parts of speech in sentences.

Upper elementary children continue work with the Grammar Box Cards that are stored in the Grammar Cabinet. They can use Grammar Symbols and a Grammar Stencil to symbolize their work. The Sentence Analysis Ruler helps them analyze how words interact in a sentence.
